The Crucible
by Arthur Miller (In Collaboration with The Agnes Irwin School) November 13 & 14, 7:30 PM Centennial Hall Tickets $7 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Arthur Millers Tony award winning play. The play is based on the Salem witch trials and the hysteria that engulfed the residents of that Massachusetts community back in 1692. In addition, the story parallels what was happening in Millers life during the McCarthy trials of the 1950s. Fifty years later audiences can still learn from both of these events as we examine what is happening in our world today.
